The Biophilia is a new diagnostic system, which uses the same detection process as the modern MRI scanner, that is to say cyclotron resonance. This need not be gone into in detail here but the important point about magnetic resonance is that it has powerful biological effects. Even the most tenuous fields and very low frequency radiations have impact on biological energies. Indeed, it is increasingly clear that extreme low frequencies (Elfs) are important, biologically. Cyclotron resonance needs a fixed and oscillating field to operate.
It is an established scientific fact that every substance, even down to individual molecules and atoms, has a characteristic magnetic resonance "signature", which is unique and identifiable even against considerable background noise. ~he targeting of the hydrogen ion is the basis for MRI scanning, since biological tissue is richest in hydrogen ions and therefore the most detailed picture can be obtained.
The developers of the Biophilia system have spent two decades in collecting the magnetic resonance signatures of healthy organs, together with tissues undergoing various stages of stress and transformation, due to known diseases. These are contained in an extensive database and can be compared almost instantaneously with signals from the patient. In addition there are a great many mathematical models of intermediate stages between healthy and fatally stressed tissues, so that projected pathological changes can be picked up long before macroscopic changes take place.

Readings are taken from the patient, who is subject to a fixed magnetic field via apparatus resembling headphones. The infrared detector is aimed at the head and collects the input signal. Major variations between the input and output signal are called dissociations and alert the operator to pathology. The selectivity of the signal is enhanced by a device called a cadistor, which is included in the circuit and is, in effect, a kind of information filter.
